for some reason the narrator is emphasizing every other syllable in a highly artificial and distracting manner, making it impossible to listen through.

the story itself from the little saw also does not gel well, some weird pseudo japanese setting, and a very rushed introduction. could not make sense why the main character was banished in the first place.

narrator's intonation makes it insufferable
