Neil Josten is out of time. He knew when he came to PSU he wouldn't survive the year, but with his death right around the corner he's got more reasons than ever to live.

Befriending the Foxes was inadvisable. Kissing one is unthinkable. Neil should know better than to get involved with anyone this close to the end, but Andrew's never been the easiest person to walk away from. If they both say it doesn't mean anything, maybe Neil won't regret losing it, but the one person Neil can't lie to is himself.

Ich liebe die Serie und habe die Hörbücher bereits so oft gehört, dass ich schon gar nicht mehr merke, dass mir die Stimme vom Sprecher an einigen Stellen und in einigen Charakter-Stimmlagen gegen den Strich geht.
Die Produktion dieses Hörbuchs ist zwar nicht perfekt, da z.B sich die Kapitelbezeichnungen am Ende wiederholen und daher nicht zu dem Originalwerk passen (also nicht wundern) und dass, zumindest an einer Stelle, der vorgelesene Text nicht mit dem Original übereinstimmt (Stelle: Neil wird Matt's Dad vorgestellt, letztes Kapitel vorm Epilog, bei 20min). Aber im großen und ganzen bin ich sehr froh darüber dieses Hörbuch und die anderen beiden dazugehörigen Teile erworben zu haben, da ich so immer Mal wieder in die Serie eintauchen kann, wenn die Nostalgie mich überwältigt und / oder ich gerade keine Gelegenheit habe das Buch in die Hand zu nehmen.

Die beste Buchreihe überhaupt. Unglaublich tiefgründige Figuren, tolle Storyline. Darüberhinaus erleben die Charaktere eine solche Entwicklung und der Leser lernt etwas in vielen verschiedenen Bereichen. Die Zitate sind absolut einprägsam und motivierend.

Eine Reise die ich gerne wieder und wieder machen will.

Diese Reihe kann ich immer wieder hören und lesen, sie wird nicht langweilig. Der Sprecher hat die Geschichte gut in Szene gesetzt und die einzelnen Stimmungen und Charaktere gut umgesetzt und dargestellt.

First of all, I LOVE the books.
Yes, even though I'm only giving three stars, I've grown to love the Foxes team.

I liked the focus on Exy and also on specific character developments. It was great to learn more about all the team members and watch Andrew grow.

However, I continue to miss the naming and coming to terms with the traumas ( even if only in the afterword).
Also, you don't play a fucking blatant Exy game with a tattoo that is not even 24 hours old.
Many things happened too quickly and too abruptly. The coming to terms with Neil's fundamental situation, for example, and also the handling of Riko. There is a lack of sensitivity.

I don't agree with a lot of it and am extremely critical of the series and yet ... I am in love and could not put the books aside.
If you approach the series without a big moral compass, you can have fun. But you also have to overlook a few things - or rather a lot of things.

I love the series, am there are critical aspects.

I really loved the whole series! there is some severe violence described! this took me a little by surprise in the second book. but I loved the whole story and the characters! Alexander cendese is reading in a really quick pace, which I first struggled a little with as I am no native speaker. after some getting used to it I actually found it 100% fitting and adding to the spice
