Schockierend, aber auch sehr sich wiederholend...
My German review:
Eins vorweg - Trump und einige seiner Mitarbeiter gehören hinter Gittern. Das Komitee weißt hier schlüssig anhand von unangefochtenen Dokumenten (Mails, Memos, Tweets, öffentliche Auftritte und Aufzeichnungen) und Zeugenaussagen nach, dass der damalige Präsident der Vereinigten Staaten aufgrund von Lügen und bewusster Falschauslegung von Gesetzen die Macht im Land behalten wollte.
Einziges Manko dieses Hörbuches ist, dass der Report sich unglaublich oft wiederholt. Dies liegt jedoch nicht etwa daran, dass das Komitee einige wenige Beweise die es hat auswälzt, sondern daran, dass dieser Report eben von mehreren Autoren geschrieben wurde, die die gleichen Beweise benutzen. Ich habe nach 15 Stunden aufgehört. Dies ist keine Kritik am Inhalt des Reports sondern der Form.
Aber wer nach diesen 15 Stunden Trump 2024 immer noch unterstützt...
My English Review:
Shocking, but also very repetitive... First of all - Trump and some of his employees belong behind bars. The committee conclusively proves on the basis of undisputed documents (mails, memos, tweets, public appearances and recordings) and witness statements that the then President of the United States wanted to retain power in the country due to lies and deliberate misinterpretation of laws.
The only drawback of this audio book is that the report is repeating itself incredibly often. However, this is not because the committee is stretching out some of the evidence it has, but because this report was written by multiple authors using the same evidence. I quit after 15 hours. This is not a criticism of the content of the report but of the form.
But who after these 15 hours is still supporting Trump for 2024...

Mittlerweile habe ich den Report noch 2x komplett gehört (als Hintergrund im Büro, siehe meine All the Presidents Men Review). Die letzten 5 Stunden beschäftigen sich mit den Angreifern und den für die Sicherheit des Capitols zuständigen Behörden.
I've now heard the full report twice (as background in the office, see my All the Presidents Men Review). The last 5 hours deal with the attackers and the authorities responsible for the security of the Capitol.
