Since I was fascinated by the idea, I really tried to like the book. Unfortunately, like 90% of it describes the daily troubles, dangers, logistics, visa problems and how the author tried to motivate/discipline himself to continue this journey.

Who wants to listen that for 9 hours! There would have been such an amazing opportunity to talk about different cultures and beautiful aspects of the world - it was 10 years of travelling after all.

But no, problems, problems, logistics, problems, logistics.
