 The Iliad is one of the most enduring creations of Western Civilization and was originally written to be recited or chanted to the accompaniment of various instruments. Mr. Griffin's reading is most excellent - his voice sonorous, his acting superb. The music and sound effects between the chapters adds a fine touch of atmosphere. It was with great enjoyment that I listened.
