For John, death was merely the beginning.

After saying goodbye to his life on earth, he never expected to find a brand new world still awaiting for him.

One where immortals flew through the clouds and ancient evils hid below the surface.

One where fables, myths, and legends filled every corner.

One where he could finally start anew.

Now, however, John is about to learn a valuable lesson, for any place humanity rules will always be the same - a domain where sin and ambition can only be tamed by power.

Will he have the strength to walk this road on his own or will he be unable to heal the old wounds hidden deep within his heart?

Find out by listening to The Idle System

This book contains a story of self-discovery, ambition, and revenge. Inspired by classical LitRPG and Xianxia, it's a new take on the genres. Containing romance without harem elements, The Idle System isn't a novel for the weak of heart, but one for those enamored with planetary-levels of destruction. If the aforementioned tropes are to your taste, don't hesitate to buy this bundle.

This volume contains the first four novels in The Idle System series: The New Journey, The Rogues, The Birth and The Sins, all of which are available separately.

It’s slightly unusual and not the typical system dynamic as you probably know. Love it.
Also the progress speed of the books is speedy, there aren’t whole chapters of sitting down and cultivating, thanks for that to Pegas.

I’m not a fan of changing the characters to suite the critics of the community like the afterwords indicate. Just do your thing as you think Pegas. Characters and story are great as they are.

Also it is quite a nice voice and fits perfectly to the Main Charakter.

As a book or better a Manga this could work, as an audio book this is incredibly boring.

this is just boring

After listening to a lot of litrpgs, This world building is quite innovative. I enjoyed the Story. There are a few situations, where i‘d habe linked the Autor to just google some facts.
Still definitely recommendable.

Interesting world building

I love playing RPG with friends but this LRPG audio book bundle was just a good offer because of getting 4 books but not worth due to the missing content.

There is just the protagonist killing anything and anyone for leveling up but with no intelligence. Just focusing on getting a higher level which is in comparison to "non-human players" ridiculous to over-the-top, that's too easy for him to reach levels where non-human players can dream about.

There is only in book 4 the first scene, which could be described as "a bit interesting" but not really surprising or even thrilling.

This bundle was a nice price offer for 4 books but not worthy to read. Don't waste your money!!

Stupid, no depth, not fun to listen

The overall idea seems nice and the idle part could be interesting. However it is hard to relate to the psychopatic main character. The part with the idle system only appears randomly and is never explained in more depth. The dialogues are often just unbearable.
At first I thought it is a joke to relate to game chat or so but it continues and sometimes even gets worse. Additionally the quality of the speaker is sometimes really bad and you hear random background noise.

Could have been good if at least some effort would have been put into the storyline and dialogues. Don't know how this could get this many upvotes.

Bad AI generated Fan Fiction!?
