Am relevantesten
Highly recommended for any person interested in backpacking and being in the mountains. Lots of personal experiences are intertwined with historical chapters about people and the history of the exploration and protection of the Sierra Nevada. Of special interest to me were the chapters about the Alps, as this I where I live. The book also delivers an interesting backstory to many other books in the opus of KSR.

KSRs lifelong passion for the Sierras is an excellent read for every mountain lover
