Loved the variety of monsters, and the fast paced action. The narrator did a good job. The female characters had no depth, and were sort of over sexualised. That sort of spoilt it for me. Still good monster fun with a decent amount of gore!

The Haunted Forest Tour is a fun and entertaining ride! It feels nostalgic and captures all the adventure feeling of reading monster stories as a kid but written for an adult audience. Creative, bloody and funny! Love it!

Feels like the grown-up version of Goosebumps Books

Blutige Splatter-Geschichte, Gewalt um der Gewalt willen. Die Figuren reine Stereotypen, geschmacklos und absolut unbefriedigend. Ein Punkt für die Grundidee der Geschichte - was hätte ein wirklicher Meister wie Stephen King daraus gemacht...
Nicht zu empfehlen!

The best part of the story is the narrator, which I'd say is mediocre- most characters sound the same, but the tone of voice is well done. It only goes down from here though. The characters are shallow and unlikable, and nothing ever happens for a reason. In basically every scene you either think that the people are acting in a weird way, or that the story is inconsistent (how much the monsters attack/ how quickly they kill/ etc), or you notice just how absurd the premise is: I get that this is a splatter story but the entire setup is beyond unreasonable in every way. Stopped listening half way through because its just boring to listen to nothing but people getting brutally murdered. Definetly do not recommend.
