Maybe the most important book of the 20th century

Horrifying, Deep and Timely
I can only second what was said in the End Credits: "I can hardly imagine anyone reading this book seriously and not becoming a better person because of it."
The sheer curage, determination and luck that was necessary for someone to survive these horrors and be able to write this book, produces a virtual obligation on all of us not having been there to at least read about these horrors

it's sad to see that this really influential book did not appear anywhere in a normal public (Western) education curriculum. Great work, and glad I listened to it. Also the interview in the end credits is worth your time.
