This is a great ending for the series. The broader subject is young adults changing the world for the better, collaborating even though they might dislike one another. El is of course the most powerful sorceress around, but she would not succeed without her allies. I really appreciated how the writer pulled the strings of the story so neatly, and the ending was really moving for me

To the trilogy. I found myself a bit saddened that Liesel was the main secondary character in this one since she had not been previously established as much as El‘s other friends, but she is interesting enough to hold the story. I did enjoy the representation of El and Liesel without it becoming a burden to the story or a massive decision or even just change El‘s feelings for Orion. El needed it in the moment and Liesel seems to have happily given the distraction. The way it was dealt with was really well done
