Captain Ann Campbell is a West Point graduate, the daughter of legendary General "Fighting Joe" Campbell. She is the pride of Fort Hadley until, one morning, her body is found, naked and bound, on the firing range.

Paul Brenner is a member of the Army's elite undercover investigative unit and the man in charge of this politically explosive case. Teamed with rape specialist Cynthia Sunhill, with whom he once had a tempestuous, doomed affair, Brenner is about to learn just how many people were sexually, emotionally, and dangerously involved with the Army's "golden girl." And how the neatly pressed uniforms and honor codes of the military hide a corruption as rank as Ann Campbell's shocking secret life. Belletristik Krieg & Militär Krimis Militär Thriller

The story is very interesting and entertaining. To me however the voice of the speaker is also very important and I do absolutely like the way Scott Brick reads the book. In any dialogue it is enough that there is a slight difference in the two voice one hears. Just the way Scott Brick does it. Much to often readers produce all kinds of voices for the various characters which all to often results for the listener in having to listen to manipulated and unpleasant voices. This is not the case in this book. My compliments for the reader!

Pleasant voice of Scott Brick

A generals daughter was abused and murdered in a military us facility.

The story displays the hunt for the murderer from the perspective of the military police. Over the entire book, the background gets more and more clear and the final solution is interesting.

A very good book, highly recommended.
