Lyrical, disturbing, uplifting, moving, creepy, and relatable, Connolly does what no other writer quite can, and does so effortlessly.

The Furies tells two stories about greed, loss, and anger, riveting yet grounded, with Connolly's expert touch for world building that never seems to fail to evoke the general weirdness, humorous or otherwise, of the Great Weird State of Maine.

Long-time narrator Jeff Harding delivers another great performance, even if his voice of enigmatic killer-with-a-conscience Louis was never quite to my liking.
