Concepts, ifs and thens, but I did not relly learn.

Good Book

This book is a mile wide and an inch deep. Since it is depth I was looking for, I come away disappointed. This needs not stop others from reading it. If you are looking for an overview of what the 4th industrial revolution could bring and the interconnection between various aspects, it will do the job.

Not what I was expecting

The topic itself is highly relevant. It is, however, discussed in quite a shallow way. Large parts of the book simply state comonly known genetic developments and their obvious consequences. l expected deeper insights.

Eloquently stating the obvious and superficial

There's a lot of, "if this happens, then that needs to be done" and "this could be a likely scenario, but that could also be a likely scenario for the future".
Could have been written by high school students.
