Unknown to Angelica, she had more than one guardian angel looking over her while she was in Kelso. He wasn’t somebody who ever had regrets, often to his own detriment. As the rest of the country is turning off the power in the rural areas to force holdouts into the cities or camps, the group has to come to terms with the consequences of someone else’s actions.

New friends, a way forward

New friendships are forged, alliances are made. The only way to stay safe is to stick together. A collapse is no place for a lone wolf, if they want to live to grow old and gray haired. As the group grows, so does their reputation for fairness and mercy. Despite that, there’s elements within the worldwide shadow government that still wants to make an example out of them.

What many are forced to ask: Do they want to be a part of the problem, or be a part of the solution? Only their consciences can help them answer that question, as the United States falls apart and people take up arms.
