I really enjoyed this book. Good story, lots of perspective changes, the plot builds up pretty slowly (this is probably not for everybody for this reason). Some stuff is a bit over the top (the magpies), but still the story keeps one engaged and listening on and on and on. Was I surprised by the ending? Yes and no, but most importantly I enjoyed the journey getting there.
