I musu admit to being slightly addicted to Rankins books as read by James Macpherson. Seem to have to buy all of them...maybe a discount is in order for addicts Ian?

Just listened to this audiobook for the 3rd time since initially purchasing it. 20 years after its publishing, the plot featuring an online adventure based on emails and hardware such as modems, feels outdated. Readers buying the audiobook today may rate the plot with 2 or 3 stars.
Still, the book an essential part of the Rebus series. Highly recommended, if you want to dive deeper into the DI‘s character and experience the Edinburgh atmosphere that comes with Ian Rankin‘s books.
As usual, impeccably narrated by James Macpherson.
