I wasn't sure about the genre and only got this audiobook because I've read another book by the author, but I laughed, I cried and I rooted for Nick...
Reader is good at differenciating voices. I did not like Owen's or his father's though. loved the ridiculous fan-fic voice he did, though xD

Tbh this story was so much more than I expected!
First of all I liked the representation, especially of Nick and his ADHD. I personally have no real frame of reference for what it’s like to live with it, but I feel like it gave me an in-depth insight.
Other than that, this book took me on quite rolercoaster ride of emotions (I know, cliche). The adorable cringe of Nick in his interactions with others and the heartbreaking emotional struggles he faces had me listening deep into the night. Of course the magnificent reader Michael Lesley does his part and makes the listening experience unforgettable.
Some of the plotpoints might have been very predictable to everyone but the main character, but that was also part of the charm of the story.
So in a nutshell: a must listen and I can’t wait for the next part!

That's it. Just an enjoyable book. One of those books where the audiobook is better. Michael Lesley does a phenomenal job.
