If you enjoy a lot of fantasy stories you will be able to predict a lot of the twists in this one, but it's got some decent tension here and there despite it. The main characters have a good setup, playing into a rivals to lovers trope, even though the pov character is quite annoying at times, especially at the start of the book. The narrator was awesome, altogether an entertaining listen, can definitely recommend.
