I loved the story and I really enjoyed listening the voice actor. The hero was fun and cute and the heroine was interesting and strong. All in all a really nice light hearted romance with some deeper aspects concerning racism. (To that I can't say much about how well it is represented. But I liked this part and think the conclusion of the story was fitting the caracters.)

Ich habe bereits zahlreiche Bücher von Courtney Milan gelesen bzw. als Hörbuch gehört und war sehr zufrieden. Dieses jedoch ist ziemlich ereignislos, schleppt sich so dahin. Da hilft es auch nicht, dass die Sprecherin durch ihre Art des Vortrags versucht, Tempo reinzubringen. Es hat mir nicht gefallen und ich werde versuchen, es zurückzugeben.
