Really brought to life the spirit of the 20s. Excellent narration with accents, voices and songs. I liked the characters but the story was perhaps a little slow for me.

The story itself is amazing and haunting, i love the setting of NYC in the 20s, i love all the characters and how their stories intertwine.

This audiobook has also one of the best narrators i‘ve ever listened too! I highly recommend listening to this story as an audiobook.

Habe das Hörbuch inzwischen schon dreimal gehört. Die Sprecherin ist fantastisch und die Story wahnsinnig spannend und originell. Ganz besonders liebe ich das Flair der 20er Jahre in New York, das hier perfekt eingefangen wurde.

I am a fan of gruesome and mysterious detective novels, especially when it's not an inspector or detective but an outsider solving the crimes. This book has it all. A various Sortiment of vastly different characters, who are all connected one way or another, an interesting secret that needs to be uncovered with many layers that are slowly being peeled away. Drama, fun and spunk. And I love the old New York slang best of all.
