I like the characters, even though they annoyed the hell out of me at times. But well that's in the title. The story has a real good start, but then meanders a bit and lacks some focus. The central mystery seems a bit of a too big swing, it's not really up to the task of carrying international spy drama and the ending wraps everything up to easily. It's certainly the most lightweight of Rosens adult novels and even though I will absolutely read the next installment, I'd hope it's some more grounded case - and less "let's repeat this scene 4 times with minor pov differences" it kinda dragged a bit in these parts. Let's call it a solid start with room for improvement from one of my Fav gay writers.
