Das Buch fängt in der Tat sehr vielversprechend an, mit einer guten Idee, aus der man etwas hätte machen können. Dafür den einen Bewertungs-Stern. Aber dann lässt es leider sehr bald stark nach und geht über in ein endloses Lamentieren eines Workoholics. Bis zum Ende passiert dann auch nichts mehr. Der Autor schien sich darüber hinaus nicht recht entscheiden zu können, worüber er schreiben will und "webt" eine 2. Geschichte aus dem antiken Griechenland mit ein, was für den Durchschnitts-Amerikaner wohl gebildet wirken mag, auf mich jedoch eher wirkte wie künstlich an den Haaren herbeigezogene Pseudo-Bildung. Eine Geschichte so taub wie die Gliedmaßen der Hauptperson.
