An awesome example of Abercrombie‘s fantastically sarcastic and sometimes gruesome style which really let‘s his would be „heroes“ shine. The narration is very well performed and lends „live“ to this already great story. Altogether great!

I'm a big fan of the Authors work so far but for me this marks a new level of writing for him. Funny, witty, dare I say Pratchetty and the Approach to "alternate history" is punk in the best possible way. I really, really enjoed it and hope that he seriously gets on with writing the next part.

Everything from characters to plot is oozing with the typical Abercrombie moment to moment randomness, and the wonderfullly rich humor of the featured physical and mental dispositions! What a ride. Thank you to the author! And also, as always the performance was a thing beauty! A big thank you to Steven Pacey, the characters are brought to life in such a colourful way!
