Am relevantesten
when i chose a historical novel, esp. a historical crime novel, i hope for a lot of historical context and language besides the actual crime(s). This author spends however way too much time describing the passionate moments between the protagonists in a kitch romance novels style: this is so boring and unnecessary!

quite a nice historical crime novel but for the annoying romance
