I absolutely loved this book! It's narration was so well done, I actually checked out other books narrated by Samantha Brentmoor right away, and the story had me crying and laughing and getting furious - and I can't wait to read it again!

Though be prepared, there is a kind of love triangle, even if there's never a real competition and you know exactly why the heroine chooses the one she chooses.

I liked to see Drew grow and find her own way, supported by Josh and his actions even from afar. I was furious about the way some people treated her and celebrated when she got rid of them. And I cried a lot and could have kicked his... behind... when a certain someone let her down spectacularly.

So many feelings, such a great book and wonderful narration!

Story: Lovely vharacter develpüment and interesting combination. I liked the medical angst and use of medical knowledge instead of just stating he is a doctor and then ignoring the actual medical aspects as many other authors do. Distraxted a point merely cause I wish for more medical scenes in such a book. Like fevers and the doctor taking care of mc in a realistic way.

Seriously hope the author writes more books with medical doctors and then really dives into the unmeassurable potebtial of sickfics and hurt/comfort. They are populat in fanfiction for a reason and its time for fiction to catch up.

Narrator: Did their job real well. Lole the way the female main character was done best. Especially the distinct pronkounciation. Very vharming. Truly made me think of an american tourist from the start.

Overall: Made me happy to listen to this. Which is the highest compliment I can give. 💖
