Nicely narrated wonderful story. Can‘ t wait for the next sequel. Maybe few too characters with different names and titles. Sometimes hard to keep track.

Die ersten zwei Bücher hatten kaum Längen. Hier brauchte es immer wieder Geduld. Ein Drittel der Länge hätte gereicht.

Zu viel des Gleichen, nicht mehr so packend

The world is unique and the second book put a lot more meat on it and the characters, and the backstory to Jadir’s motifs was great. Book 3 however reads like a cheap Fantasy Romance, with a huge amount of filler detracting from the main story. The demon’s barely feature; hardly any progression in the main characters story arc, and everyone is seemingly obsessed with marriage and sex.

Soap opera version of the first two books

World building shows an old white man’s cartoonish understanding of Muslim/Arab Culture. Characters with no internal consistency behind their motives. And transparent attempts to be politically correct that will break your immersion and jar you out of the story.
