What a voice

...I wish he would use it with more nuance. The stories need no review. Mr. June is gifted with a deep, gnarly voice that befits the unmentionable eldritch horrors. However, he reads the texts in a drone that seems oddly detached and focused primarily on sounding, well, deep and gnarly.

Classic story, great voice!

Was hat Ihnen das Hörerlebnis von The Dark Worlds of H. P. Lovecraft, Volume One besonders unterhaltsam gemacht?

I only had two problems with this audiobook: The old-timey writing sometimes makes it hard to understand what's going on, especially as a non-native speaker.
The second problem is the production. There are several points during the story where you can clearly hear that the voice has beend recorded with different settings/at another studio/at another time. At one point literally every sentence sounds different from the one before.
