Sprecher eher amerikanisch angehaucht, zu Anfang ungewöhnlich. Vor allem fehlende Pausen vor Kapitelwechsel sind störend: Buchkapitel nicht identisch mit Audibuchkapiteln; teilweise neues Chapter im selben Atemzug gelesen, wie der letzte Story-Satz.
Aber: Unbedingt empfehlenswert!

Meiner Meinung nach wie immer ein wenig oberflächlich - ein Beispiel dafür sind u.a. die guten Einfälle seiner Charaktere in brenzligen Situationen. Trotzdem auf jeden Fall spannend zu verfolgen, manchmal aber ein wenig vorhersehbar....
Den letzten Punkt gibt es von mir - wie so oft - für die brilliante Lesung!

Und, da möchte ich einer anderen Rezension hier wiedersprechen, für mich auf jeden Fall "besser" als Angels and Demons oder Deception Point. Erzählerisch besser. Stringenter. Gereifter. Ohne diese kurzen Stirnrunzelstellen, die die (ansonsten ebenfalls phänomenal spannenden) früheren Werke Dan Browns gelegentlich kennzeichnen. Und auch nicht ganz so übereilt zu ende gebracht. Nur ein bisschen. Übereilt, meine ich.
Auf jeden Fall: ein Riesenhörvergnügen. Ganz besonders wegen der sensationell lebendigen und vielschichtigen Lesung.
Es ist mir ein vollkommenes Rätsel, wie man diesen durchdachten und wohlkomponierten Titel in einer anderen Ausgabe auf nicht mal ein Drittel der Hörzeit einkürzen konnte. Ich hätte noch tagelang weiterhören können und wollen.
Ganz einfach: wow!
