I have chosen the audiobook based on the recommendation of other audible listeners and I was not disappointed. A brilliant story.

Sehr gute Geschichte und sehr interessante Charaktere. Die Story bietet sich für eine Filmadaption gerade zu an. Robert Glenister ist darüber hinaus auch ein sehr charismatischer Sprecher. Hat mir sehr gut gefallen!

this was great. Initially thought reader was boring, but he was great! The plot was great, with real characters and the ending was surprising and good! caught myself findinf excuses to drive places to listen to more. highkybrecommended.

Ein unglaublich spannendes und fesselndes Buch, das Dank einem hervorragenden Sprecher als Hörbuch noch ein bisschen mehr Spaß macht. Konnte nicht mehr aufhören mit dem Hören.

I could hardly stop listening. The stories core is not unheard of, but what is made of it, is full of suspension and twists. Robert Galbraiths characters have depth and humanity, which makes them very believable. The reader has a nice voice, pleasant british accent, does nice character voices and impressions. I'm going to get the next book immediately.

In principle, an entertaining story; far fetched at times, but fun. The single criticism I have is the, in my view, over-use of foul language. I get that the author is describing a specific milieu, but a good 50% of the expletives could have been cut without doing the least bit of damage to the story or its authenticity. Maybe the author is over compensating a little for the tame language in her other oeuvres ;-)

Glaubhafte Charaktere, gutes Setting, kein offensichtliches Ende. Top! Mal ein anderer Krimi, nah am Leben ohne zu oberflächlich zu sein.

Spannender Stil, tolle Charaktere, gutes Verbrechen bei deren Aufklärung man miträtseln kann. Ohne die heutzutage üblich gewordenen übergrausig brutalen Bluttaten. Stattdessen clevere Vebrechen die es zu durchblicken gilt. Rowling schafft es also auch ohne ihren Namen auf dem Cover zu überzeugen.

Clever statt Schlachthaus. Spannung bis zum Schluss.

J.K. Rowling (alias Robert Galbraith) ist echt eine meisterhafte Erzählerin. Die beiden Hauptfiguren Cormoran Strike und seine Sekretärin sind so lebensecht und sympatisch, dass sie sofort zu meinen Freunden wurden. Alleine schon für diese Charaktere lohnt es sich, dieses Buch zu hören. Ihre Beschreibungen sind meisterhaft und eine reine Wonne. Der Sprecher passt perfekt zu der Geschichte und zum Hauptdarsteller. Das Ende ist etwas unrealistisch und darum m.E. etwas ärgerlich, aber das sollte einen nicht davon abhalten, das Buch zu hören! Bitte, bitte, J.K. Rowling, schreibe Fortsetzungen davon!!!

... doch war mir glücklicherweise in dem Moment, in dem ich die Empfehlung von audible herunterlud, nicht bewusst, wer der Autor dieses Buches ist.
Die Geschichte ist spannend, zieht den Leser/Hörer in die Handlung und gibt ihn nicht mehr frei.
Ich freue mich auf eine Fortsetzung.
