The story was great, I really like Jonathan Strout’s writing. He always manages just the right mix of creepy bits, a few good jokes and a gripping plot.
The one thing I struggled with was the narrator. Emily Bevan’s reading is very lively, which is good, but I don’t like some of the voices. Especially George sounds like a joke to me, and since he’s a central character, there’s no getting around it. But since I really enjoyed the series so far, I listened to it anyway and will do so with the last one. So all in all, I highly recommend it!

I love the found family they are by the end of the book. This part is especially about rebuilding friendships and character development and I'm absolutely hete for it. I can't wait to listen to book 5. The ending really makes you wish for more.
Side note: The skull is one of my favorite characters.
