I love Sarah Morgan's style of writing. I enjoy how she dive deep down into the personality of each of her characters. I can totally identify with every single woman in the story. I am Alix and Christy and Robin. It was as if a good friend let me look in a mirror and see my flaws and talents at the same time. This book is so carefully written and wonderfully narrated I could have gone on listening for ever.

This very lovely story centers relationships, misunderstandings and so much emotion. This kind of story telling feels so natural and authentic. The author does an impecable job at revealing the inner life of the characters, showing their complexity and their depth. Well writting and lots of Christmas spirit as an added bonus. The narrator does a great job in acting out the different characters and moods.

it started off pretty good, i really liked the aunt in Lappland and everything and then the story lost me in the middle. the characters, especially Christy, began to annoy me and some scenes where dramatized without any real reason. i also disliked some of the scenes between Alix and her lover. i know it is popular in romances and still i find it so wrong, especially considering young readers, to reinforce this following silly pattern: the woman who does not want to fall in love, the guy does not give up, in a steamy scene she says no, but he knows, she doesn't REALLY mean it and presses her against a wall to kiss her. She suddenly realizes, she was all wrong, she wants him, bla, bla, bla - THIS IS WRONG!! In real life i dearly hope, guys accept and respect a "no"!
