Wie immer finde ich die Geschichte um Ruth Galloway und ihre Umgebung sehr interessant und menschlich berührend. Leider spricht mich die Leserin mit ihrer oft zu leidend klingenden Betonung gar nicht an.

Über den Inhalt wird man freilich geteilter Meinung sein, aber die Sprecherin kann nicht gefallen:
Sie schmatzt und schluckt sehr oft hörbar und die Sprachmelodie regt zum sofortigen Tiefschlaf an - ihre Vorgängerin in dieser Buchreihe hätte weiter machen sollen!

Ruth G. kommt kaum vor - schade!

I enjoyed all the Ruth books. For the last 2 there is music at the beginning and the end of the book which I really don’t like. It’s too loud, too sudden. It keeps giving me a scare after the calm reading voice. Wish they wouldn’t Di that.
