In the LAPD's Open-Unsolved Unit, not many murder victims die almost a decade after the crime. So when a man succumbs to complications from being shot by a stray bullet nine years earlier, Bosch catches a case in which the body is still fresh, but any other evidence is virtually nonexistent.
Now Bosch and his new partner, rookie Detective Lucia Soto, are tasked with solving what turns out to be a highly charged, politically sensitive case. Starting with the bullet that's been lodged for years in the victim's spine, they must pull new leads from years-old information, which soon reveals that this shooting may have been anything but random.

wie immer, ein super Harry Bosch
traurigerweise neigt sich Harrys Karriere so langsam dem Ende zu und viele Storys um seine Person wird es wahrscheinlich nicht mehr geben. Auch diese hier, wie alle anderen auch, ist aber wieder absolut hörenswert und zu empfehlen, sehr gut gelesen. Für alleHarry Bosch Fans ohnehin ein Muss !

Gute Story - schlechter Sprecher
Titus Welliver mag der perfekte Schauspieler für die Rolle als Harry Bosch sein, er ist aber leider ein miserabler Vorleser.
Die gute Geschichte wird sehr monoton und teilweise undeutlich vorgelesen.
Sehr schade, Michael McConnohie wäre hier die bessere Wahl gewesen.
Leider gibt es dieses Hörbuch in keiner anderen Version bei Audible.

Gewohnt guter Connelly, aber leider schlechtester Sprecher den ich kenne... monoton, genuschelt, kaum Unterschiede in den modulation der stimmen der dargestellten Personen... fast eine kontinuierliche Bitte seine Aufmerksamkeit etwas anderem zuzuwenden. Vor allem im Vergleich zu tollen Sprechern dieser Reihe wie Len Cariou katastrophal...

guter alter Harry
unterhaltsame Geschichte, aber schwächer als die Vorgänger. Alles recht konstruiert und im üblichen Rahmen. Trotzdem habe ich das Hörbuch genossen.
Vorkenntnis der anderen Bücher der H. B. Reihe sind vorausgesetzt, weil vieles om Kontext steht und alte Bekannte Gastauftritte haben.
