Excellent book, recommend listening or reading it to everyone. I feel reading might be more appropriate because the narration doesn't add much to immersion.
Compared to the first book Chambers story thread breaks up the grim dark atmosphere set by the first book, by having me break out in a laughing fit every so often. The contrast between dark fantasy and the fool that chambers displays himself as is amusing to no end. Its more direct commedy then the humour in the first title. I think it's great. All the while Chambers is still a fully fleshed out person, not "just a fool". I like it.
Other than that all positives of my review from this first book hold up here aswell. Apparently it got deleted tho...

This is going straight to my favorites. Avo is a very interesting, well-written protagonist, and I really like how we're introduced to the setting. Namely head-first, and without a lot of easily digested information, but with so much action and intrigue that I got pulled along for the ride immediately. I was curious and hooked from the first chapter, because even when Avo uses an unfamiliar term, it's not frustrating, but rather a glimpse of something we weren't told about yet. And then when we do find out, oh boy. The world building seems tight, the lore runs deep, and I can't wait for the next audiobook.

And as a cherry on top, the narrator is absolutely amazing. I love how he does the dinstinct but realistic different voices.

This is one of the best Audiobooks in my opinion.
I especially loved the different voices and the personality portraied through them.

Das 1x1 beim Erzählen einer Geschichte, sollte der Autor nochmals üben.
Die Fragen: Was, Wann, Wo, Wer, Warum wurden nicht ausreichend beantwortet.
Das Universum ist interessant und hat potenzial. Aber, der Autor versucht hier zu schnell, zu viel, mit zu wenig Erklärungen in einen kurzen Zeitraum zu packen. Er verwendet auch ungewohnte Begriffe und einige Abkürzungen, die man erst im späteren Kontext oder nach mehrmaligem Hören vollständig versteht.
Außerdem ist das Genre definitiv: Cyberpunk

Die Audioaufnahme ist leider nicht 1A, es wird immer wieder lauter und leiser - was am Sprecher und dessen Anlage liegen könnte.

Ich werde mich weiterhin durch dieses Buch quälen, weil eine Rückgabe nicht möglich ist - sind ja nur noch 19h übrig.
