The tension between these two opposing sides is the theme that runs throughout the book, while readers are taken on a chronological journey through humanity’s developing relationship with the deep sea. This was high on my list ever since I the author was on BBC ‘The Infinite Monkey Cage’ podcast. And the book certainly didn’t disappoint. I learned a lot about the latest research in to the deep sea and potential future risks to the environment. The narration was great also.

Wonderful book

Ein Fehler ist aufgetreten. Bitte versuche es in ein paar Minuten noch einmal.
Spannendes Buch über unbekannte Welten. Faszinierender Einblick in die Meeresbiologie und Geologie der Tiefsee. Empfehlenswert. Leider driftet das Buch später stark umwelpolitisch ab. Natürlich ein extrem wichtiger Aspekt, aber ich hätte mir mehr vom ersten Teil gewünscht.
