Salome learnt from her mother and grandmothers before how to help pregnancy, turn babies and support women through the rite of passage that is birth. One birth she attends seems ordinary...it is in fact nothing but.
Learn about a time when women would support other women during birth. Skills passed down from mothers and grandmothers, a few of whom would take the role of the wise woman, the birthkeeper for a village. There for pregnancy, birth and death. Salome opens up a secret world of women, birth and the women forgotten from one of the most famous stories.
