Inconsistent underdeveloped characters, bad story

It rarely happens that I stop reading/listening to a book but I just couldn't finish 'The Adoption'. The characters have no real inner life, everything is very superficial and a lot of the actions feel unbelievable. The constant switch to different viewpoints takes away so much suspension and is poorly implemented.

If you get it for free, don't expect much, and just want to turn off your head, you can give it a try, maybe you'll like it. It's a very simple and superficial book and could be entertaining, except for the many inconsistencies.
