I love the whole series and the ones branching off. usually I find the stories and characters very conclusive. In this series though, especially this book and James's timeline the author hits a huge snag. James is supposed to be 28 when his daughter is three but then the story goes how he joins right out of Highschool and gets his gf pregnant before basic. that would make him a father at @19 and his daughter 9 when he returns home from his assignment at twenty eight. I'm a stickler for detail so this really bugs me, throwing me off the plot whenever mentioned. If you don't mind stuff like that it's a solid five.
I neglect pointing out that part of the Saga involving the Dixie Wardens and Free is the next generation, seeing Pru and Piper find love in their twenties and it's situated in the late 2010s early 2020s. Also not conclusive but read as a separate series I chose to ignore that fact.😄
