Curtis Hunt has made a name for himself as a chainsaw wood carver, winning national competitions and operating a small business in Rainbow Cove, Oregon. As winter whittles away his tourist traffic, his goal is just to survive the season and try to not get lost in grief for his dead lover. And it's what drives him to a single sizzling encounter with the local legendary lumberjack. Both men get far more than they expected and learn that first impressions aren't always accurate....

But when Logan proposes a series of sexy lessons, Curtis must decide how much he's willing to risk. He knows he can't afford to get attached to Logan's good cooking, his easy smiles, or his caretaking, but he keeps going back for more, even as deeper emotions become involved. Soon, Curtis must decide whether to risk his heart again or risk losing Logan for good.

But again, again I would have switched the voices. In my opinion Marc Bachman has the more 'adult', gruff voice, which had better suited with Curtis. When Marc Bachman speaks with the voice of Curtis and you listen to the soft drawl of Iggy Toma as Curtis, it's so, so contrary.

Beautiful story

It is the job of a child to make their parents see and accept that they are grown up, when they are.
Some parents are more willing to get there than others - Logan's were particularly difficult to convince. Him always being so nice and (may I say) pliant towards them shows that he never gave them a chance to meet the real him, until he more or less exploded.
It was a painful way - reading it was so aggravating! Also annoying was how both men were unable to talk and find constructive ways - thank heaven that stupidity was outgrown at some point!
I am glad Logan and Curtis allowed themselves to grow and heal - living life to the fullest is not a luxury!

Was this supposed to be Fifty Shades of grey for gays? Well, it did not work. The Story is lame and boring! The narrators did again a good job, but that‘s about it!
