Madison Daniels has worshiped her brother's best friend since they were kids. This book had a lot of cliches in my opinion but they are entertaining nonetheless. It’s just a little too rapidly hot-cold-hot-cold fight-flight for me to adorn this entertaining story with 5 stars but I definitely wouldn’t mind listening to this one again. I had to get used to the narrator though. First by not having realized that it’s a male narrator (told from 3rd person perspective) but after that I still had to get used to how the narrator would voice everything. Very narrator-ish, so it’s really like listening to a story instead of being able to get all mangled up inside it, like the last audiobooks were narrated, I was living the story more. Still, listening to this story is very pleasant and the narrator did a fantastic job for my ears with hearing difficulties, never had trouble understanding anything he said and never had to second guess what I was hearing either (have less pronounced hearing abilities that leaves me guessing for the right syllables but sometimes it’s even worse, gives for some very funny stories though, the things I hear are often too funny to keep to myself 😂)

This is a hot-cold-hot-cold kinda romance
