The story is interesting, but I wish contemporary thriller/drama authours would stop adding annoying teenagers as generic characters. They are so predictable and make the story predictable too. It feels as if all teenagers in contemporary books were made out of the same mould.

So, I listen to my books while I'm working, and this one had me frowning and disagreeing for few hours. I am maybe a bit spoiled by some better writers, but this was see-through from the beginning.
I usually don't do reviews, but now I felt like I had to.

The speaker really manages to bring out the worst of the story. She tries hard to impersonate the characters by changing her tone of voice...but unfortunately fails miserably and the result is ridiculous.
The story is lengthy and not convincing. The central character, a psychologist, makes you hope that in the real world a person in this position would never ever act so irresponsibly and unprofessionally. Instead of identifying with the heroine I came to loathe her and laugh about her silly ruminations.
