Über diesen Titel

Death isn't the end.

Marie didn't expect to be given the opportunity to go to a new universe when she died, but when it was offered she held to the offer with all her might.

Taking the name of Talyn, she was accompanied to the new world by the goddess Melody as her assistant, as she seeks out a more rewarding life for herself, no matter what challenges may stand before her.

Even if the introduction of some game mechanics and a goddess to her life has unanticipated consequences.

This is a slow-burn story, with more slice of life sections to it. While it is LitRPG, there are no attributes to speak of.

the main character acts like she is 14 year old and doesn't fit her backstory. A shame the world built isn't bad as well as the story but the characters are unrealistic.

Hero complex

This is my 6th book from Medrano. All of them are basically the same, except for setting. All the character in Medrano's books are the same. All of them talk and act the same.

Medrano has a big problem of over using the expressions, true, point, and fair, to indicate agreement in dialog. There are no scenes that don't have at least one of those expressions.

I don't even dislike the settings, or characters. They should fit my interests perfectly. Everything is just so painfully default fantasy.
The worldbuilding and story are severely underdeveloped. The magic system is the most basic rpg system you can get away with. Unimaginative.
Also unimaginative are the different fantasy races. We get a short visual description for them, but non of that matters. Everybody acts the same.

I would describe the characters as lukewarm. Non of them stand out. Non of them show more emotions than mild annoyance, mild frustration, or mild timidity.

This book isn't even bad. It just has nothing special going for it.

The reader is doing a fine job. No complaints there.

Medrano just doesn't improve
