This is the last book for me. Syl may be a broken character, but she has to work for it at least and most of the time her gains are trade-offs. The spider character just gets stuff for free and just finds out things in seconds while Syl has 2, 3 or even more minds working all the time only to more or less keep up.
And the newest character is the absolute Gary Stu just so the author can make this "hilarious" joke about having friends in god realm. That doesn't even work in the greater context, since if he has so many friends why does he have to work with the ppl who aren't his friends already to save Gary Stu?
I'm done, when the author made at least an effort to show that there were some rules. I was able to enjoy it before, but now it's not about the characters achievements and work ethic anymore, now it's just how much favor and gifts the gods are throwing at any of their experiments.
