0.85x playback speed is the clue!

Everything is great about this book. Only the narrator talks too fast. I put the speed of the audiobook at 0.85x and then it became an awesome experience.

Amazing Narrator

There is nothing else i can say about this book that hasn't already been said.
But i have to praise Mr Peter Kenny , he has really outdone himself this time , especially in the Story "Eternal Flame" he has knocked it completely out of the park!

This is worth buying for the narration alone!

This is the story i wanted to hear after the games, not netflix's pathetic attempt

Tolle Geschichte mit tollem Ende

Ich habe das Buch geliebt und so oft gehört wie es nur geht. Damit wird jede Fahrt, jeder Spaziergang und das Einschlafen spannend. Kann es nur empfehlen.

Good to the half

The first half of the book is well written and tells about Geralts journeys as a monsterhunter. The writing style deterioates to a childrenbook as soon as ciri enters the story.
When the author cant feature children without making it a childrens book, he shouldn t feature them as protagonists.

Spannende Geschichten und ein großartiger Sprecher

Es ist wirklich außerordentlich gut, wie Peter Kenny diese spannenden, teils bewegenden Geschichten rund um den Witcher interpretiert. Ich mag seine „normale“ Stimme sehr und finde beeindruckend wie er sie abwandeln kann, um die verschiedenen Stimmen der vielen Charaktere darzustellen.

Great second book in the series, very good narrator, very satisfying ending. Highly recommended.

Fantastic!

This audiobook was awesome, simple as that. Peter Kenny does voices fantastically and his pronunciation of the different and difficult names seemed amost easy.
Yarpen Zigrin's Herald scene made me laugh out in public which triggered some weirded out looks.
The stories were so smooth and the different characters and monsters were so distinct and interesting that I had to keep on listening.
Will listen to more Sapkowski/Kenny. Can't wait actually!

Fantastic performance, fantastic story. Peter Kenny has outdone himself in this reading, improving further on his already great previous performance on The Last Wish.
