I love Suttree. The narrator does a good job, but I feel that the story could be better if told in a less gloomy, solemn manner. The voice acting is not bad, although Harrogate could be a bit more hillbilly in my opinion. People seem to like Richard Poe so I would recommend this version to everyone that enjoyed Blood Meridian.

one of the worst books I have ever encountered. long-winded and dreadfully boring. disconnected events and overly discriptive narrative. I did not manage to finish it and after a few hours got tired of waiting for some kind of storyline to develop
