Every girl slowly (or not so slowly) falls in love with the main character, while he has some clear anger issues to cope with. He is the best at his branch of magic, even better then his supposed teacher, so he becomes the teacher for his class in the first day.
All in all this story is about a boy that is really snarky, unrelatable and really angry with everyone while being the supposed underdog that's just great at everything. He does not loose a fight or learn a lesson.
My recommendation is the stay away from this book and listen to something else.
