I really love all the alien/monster x human tropes and they were done perfectly in this book! Everest is so feisty and sweet and he helps Rath to overcome and unlearn what society drilled into him little by little. I can't wait to find out where that story goes, even though it was fairly spicy, the plot is very very intriguing. I love a good plot about interstellar politics. Also, Everest and Cielo's friendship is everything, omg, I can't wait to read Cielo and Dante's story! I love them already!
