The main story barely progresses across the books. By now it's mostly arbitrary travel fantasy. The main character is discussing the same uninspiring black/white moral conflict since three books. It's not always plausible. He doesnt even consider it, when people save his life. He makes very stupid mistakes, for example with the demons. Needs a better editor to cut fluff from the books in the future.
