So sooo good! Big fan of Ali Hazelwood and really really enjoyed this short story!

Of the three STEMinist books, this one is my favorite in terms of the story, closely followed by Stuck With You. What I liked less is the narrator. She does a very good job with the female lead, but not with the male one. As a non-native English speaker myself, he never sounds to me like he has any kind of accent; instead, it simply sounds as if he is overemphasizing the final consonants, which makes him come across as unlikeable and cold, even when he’s saying kind or empathetic things.

And Ali — the letter ß (the big B that’s actually two s’s) does not exist in any Scandinavian language; it’s only used in German.
