Mary Kingswood is a new author for me and I’m delighted to have found her. I found this story captivating right from the beginning. An unusual and interesting heroine was the first “hook” for me, and the plot was refreshingly different - a mix of crime mystery and romance. I had the audio version of the book and narrator Joanna Stephens is fabulous. She really brought the book alive - what an incredible range of voices and accents she creates! I’m going to buy a lot more of these wonderful books!

Die Figuren verhalten sich nicht der Zeit entsprechend. Ein müder Versuch einen Georgette Heyer Roman zu verfassen. Die Sprecherin und ihre Intonation ist nur schwer zu ertragen.
